*Michael Kraus
born 1837 in Bohemia/Austria. He married Eva Kroha about 1860 in
Bohemia/ Austria, daughter of John Kroha and Elizabeth Fritz.
Eva was born 1839 in Germany, and died 1906 in Allegheny Co; Pennsylvania. Michael, his wife, and their children [except for daughter, Anna] immigrated to
the U.S. 1883. They settled in Shalar Twp; Allegheny Co; Pennsylvania.
Eva, died 1906 and the family believes that Michael went back to Austria
sometime in 1907. At this time, there has been no information found to
suggest that he stayed in Pennsylvania, or that he went back to Austria.

family; The family information says that she was married , had six
children and stayed in Austria.

Kraus, born 1868, Betlarn, [Zebrak] Bohemia - now
Czechoslovakia; According to Magdalena's personal journal, she was born
in Pattlarn, Bohemia; It appears to be: Battlarn, Bohemia [Ausrtia] -Zebrak,
now Schebrak, Czechoslavakia. It is located 10 miles SW of Beraun, on
the Beraun River, and 20 miles SW of Prague; Married George
Weiss, in Allegheny Co; PA; son of Peter Weiss and Christina
Catharina Rojan; They moved
to Mahoning County, Ohio in 1905; Magdalena
died 1955 in Mahoning Co; Ohio. They
had eight children. See my
